If only the game had managed to match the excitement of the shenanigans going on between rival fans before the game
on Fulham Road. Instead, we were treated to a drab encounter. Our rivals would have battered this lost by two or three
goals even with a weakened squad - are you watching Roman? Is this really a vast improvement on Jose Mourinho? I
would say that our football has actually become worse.
Nevermind, hopefully we will sign Berbatov and/or Anelka, as up front we look pretty woeful. From thinking Pizarro was
better than Shevchenko, I now wonder whether he is fit enough to lace his boots. Good to see Drogba back from injury,
and a shame he has to go off to the African Nations Cup now.
At least we are in the next round of the cup - I want an away trip to a lower league side in the draw tomorrow please! I
am fed up with all these two bob away fans coming to the Bridge and singing, "where were you when you were shit",
when they cannot even sell out their own home games!
