What a fantastic result for Poland against one of the big guns in world football. Poland were perhaps fortunate to steal a
draw, but having seen the antics of the Portuguese players (Ronaldo's first dive was only after 4 minutes) it was well
deserved.
Lisbon is a fantastic place. The game took place in the Stadio da Luz, a magnificent stadium and the home of Benfica.
On the way back to London, I managed to visit the Sporting Lisbon stadium which is a simply magnificent piece of
architecture.
Poland need to beat Belgium and Kazakhstan at home and they have more or less qualified. Great weekend, great
result.
