AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Not only did we have to go on a 530 mile round trip but Chelsea played absolute pants. The weather was crap, the
atmosphere was crap, most of Chelsea's support nearly died from having to climb 20 flights of stairs to their seats, Kalou
had the finishing power of a kitten and ultimately we blew our best chance to make a massive step towards the title.
Noone wanted to be at St James's on a Sunday (thanks, Sky - for those that didn't know there were no trains running on
the day of the game for the match) and the fans from both sides were quiet - evidently following a heavy night's drinking
session. We stayed in Durham. A lovely part of the world (and funnily enough where Neil Barnett stayed too!)
It was bound to happen though - I have been to the North East several times and never seen Chelsea win so I was as
shocked as I could've been.
With heavy heart I look towards the Liverpool game and optimism I had a week ago for the end of our season is slowly
fading... with more injuries to report perhaps we will screw it up!
