08 11 2006        Chelsea 4 Aston Villa 0
Chelsea bounced back fantastically well in a very enjoyable match to watch.

The first half seemed to disappear in the space of five minutes as this ding dong cup tie really captured the eye. With
Terry out, the worry was if the defence would hold. Villa rarely threatened, and the Agbonlahor who impressed me at
Stamford Bridge earlier on this season had a poor game.

Villa came out with the usual, "where were you when you were shit" rubbish. I'd like to ask them why they only filled half
their allocation for the league game earlier on this season (a normal Saturday 3pm kick off). In any case I applaud Villa
for providing free transport to their fickle fans (how many thousand extra fans bought season tickets when they heard
O'Neill was going to be in charge? Isn't that glory hunting?) although after the match I have heard many reports of their
fans vandalising cars in the vicinity of Stamford Bridge after their team was annihilated. Outside the pub I was in, a man
was punched by a Villa fan who subsequently ran off.

So this victory puts the Spurs result to bed. On this form, I expect us to put a few past Watford on Sunday. It's about time
we thumped someone in the league.
