Despite the result this was a very enjoyable game. Chelsea had 20 attempts on goal and it was only some half-baked
finishing and great saves that kept Villa in the game.
When we played Villa at their ground last year we scraped a draw... this year they were the lucky ones.
I like Martin o'Neill... he must still be fuming after the Erland Johnsen penalty all those years ago. He has certainly added
drive and passion to what has been a pretty dire team for a very long time. I was very impressed with Agbonlahor (yes I
did have to look up how to spell it) and perhaps now Villa will lift the gloom for struggling Midlander sides.
So no great loss of points... we are 6 points better off than we were last season in the corresponding fixtures.
