At last! The best Chelsea have played for a while. We are through to the Semis of the FA Cup and it seems highly likely
we are going to face the Scousers again this season.

Chelsea by no means dominated the first half, but their class showed. Terry scored from a corner, but apart from that
there were few chances. Newcastle looked dangerous in attack, but could not make too many chances in the Chelsea
penalty area.

Second half Chelsea changed their formation and pushed Gudjohnsen forward. Many chances were created with SWP,
Del Horno and Gudjohnsen squandering good opportunities. The result was fair, although Roeder showed his class by
resorting to blaming the referee, despite the fact he had nothing to do with Newcastle's listless attack.

If I was to criticise the performance, then it's usual stuff. Drogba will never earn Chelsea fans' respect if he keeps on
crying wolf on the deck. Apart from that I felt he had a solid game. Gudjohnsen made many mistakes in the second half
in terms of his decision making. But that's by the by. Chelsea was dominant, and deserves to be in the last four.

So who will we face next? And where? If we draw the Irons then I would much prefer going up to Manchester than Cardiff
- to be honest even Villa would be a better bet as then we would have our hard core support. I would not fancy having to
share a carriage with a bunch of pikeys from Paddington to Wales though.

I feel sorry for Shearer to have to bow out with no medals at Newcastle. He has been a great player and despite the odd
elbow and dodgy tackle I would have loved to have seen him play at Chelsea. Bring on Man City!
