07 03 2006        Barcelona here we come
I am writing this at 3am on the day of the game. I cannot sleep, and as I am leaving the house in less than an hour there
is no point trying to!

If I was sensible, I would probably get some kip in when I arrive in Barca later this morning. However, as I am weak willed I
will probably go straight out on the lash.

I do not know what to think. Will the Barca fans give us a hostile reception? Will Chelsea win? I am getting some very
unnatural bowel movements just thinking about it.

In any case I am sure we will score... I am more worried about Barca scoring though! Whatever happens, we know we
need to score at least two goals to survive, and I am sure Jose has a tough decision to make. Should he go all out in
attack and play Duff, Robben and Cole with Drogba up front, three in defence, one defending midfielder and two central
midfielders?

This is the team I would like to see play if we were going for all out attack:

Cech
Ferreira Terry Gallas
Makelele
Lampard Gudjohnsen
Cole Robben
Crespo Drogba

This side would be a side capable of scoring goals, although Lampard and Cole would have to do a lot of tracking back.
I would guess that Jose would play a more conservative side:

Cech
Ferreira Terry Carvalho Gallas
Makelele
Cole Lampard Gudjohnsen Robben
Drogba

All I know is that I cannot wait for this game. I am pessimistic about our chances - not because I doubt the strength of our
team - but more that another refereeing decision may cost us the game. In any case, I am sure our fans will be in good
voice for the game, and in the best British spirit, may the best team win!
