03 03 2006        Lord Percy speaketh
"Incredibly loyal yet incredibly stupid, Lord Percy is described by Lord Blackadder as 'a dimwit I can't seem to shake off'."

So Ricardo Carvalho has spoken his mind yet again. Reports from him today see him stoking up the flames ahead of the
match next Tuesday against Barcelona.

Carvalho said: "Messi is a good player but he has opened the road for some Chelsea players to do the same thing.

"He exaggerated everything he could and started to roll around on the field like he had been killed."

Carvalho added: "He deceived the referee well, but these type of things are a part of football."

Ahead of such an important game, perhaps he needs another IQ test. Even if he meant such a statement in jest, on
paper his pre match talk can come out the wrong way.

Can you imagine a scenario where a Chelsea player is through on goal and a defender brings him down, but the referee
does nothing as he assumes the Chelsea player dived having read such comments?

At times like this Chelsea players should be talking about how they are going to approach such an important game and
not look for clever soundbites. The media hates us enough already.
