01 03 2006 The Lord giveth, and He taketh away
I have just returned from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea has swiftly set up an area by the entrance to the Chelsea Hotel for people to leave their
condolences. There are many flowers already left despite the sudden death of the Chelsea legend.
There is also a book where Chelsea fans can leave their thoughts and wishes.
I have posted up the tributes from all those fans who sent me e-mails earlier.
I am not ashamed to say that I shed many tears this evening despite the fact I never saw Osgood play.
Just seeing his passion on footage from Chelsea TV in the Shed Bar choked me up.
There was one man who simply sat in the cordoned off area where the tributes lie and sobbed
uncontrollably.

May he rest in peace. For a man with so much energy and passion to die at such a relatively young age
is unreal.
Let's pray that Chelsea set up a statue in his honour.
